The first time Maxim actually met the band was in the night of the show.Maxim remembers it as an interesting experience:"I just remember being put on this stage in the middle of what was a dance scene with four people I had just met and I just stood at the back with a mic chatting a couple of times.Meanwhile, the rest of the band were doing their shit and everybody was going wild,it just went off.It all happened so quickly. It was weird but really good.I thought it was really wicked but I didn't think anything more of it than I wanted to do it again".He did do it again a few days later he was asked to join the band.During the winter of 1990,Sharky left the band, after the band had signed to XL Recordings. She tought it was too much. When the group contained only four members, they realized their first EP

"What Evil Lurks" in February 1991.The start was impressive and their first EP sold over 7000 copies. This time Liam was in the habit of partying until late. When he was returning home,he started writing songs when he was still in the party vibes. After Liam had seen a 70's children's information film,he made a song with the phrase "Charly says always tell your Mummy before you go off somewhere".The song's name was "Charly".After they had released four singles, their first album came out,Experience, and they started a tour. The final singles from their debut album was "Out of Space" and "Wind it Up".On 1993,Liam started working on a new album, their second one,"Music for the Jilted Generation",was a success. It went straight in Number 1 of the album charts and sold over 1000000 copies world-wide.A critical called Liam "modern-day Beethoven".In 1994,they started playing at festivals. The most famous songs from that album is "No Good (Start the Dance)","Voodoo People" and "Poison".All these songs were on the Top15 list. The first taste of their new material from the 3rd album came in March 1996,when they realized "Firestarter".When the video was shown on "Top of the Pops",the BBC recieved lots of complaints from angry parents saying that Keith was too scary for early evening viewing, despite the fact that no drugs, guns, violence or swearing were featured in the video.Six weeks later."Firestarter" sold over 750000 copies and it was Number 1 in seven European countries. When everybody thought their third album was on its way,an other single came out,"Breathe" in November 1996.Their third album came out in 30 June 1997 and its name was "The Fat Of The Land".
