After meeting each other many times,they became very good friends and going out almost every night.It was at an outdoor rave party when Keith first met Liam.Keith was so impressed by the tunes Liam was playing that he asked for a tape of his own mixes.Before Liam gave Keith the tape,he recorded four of his own songs at the B-side.One night,when Keith and Leeroy were coming back from a party,they put on the tape and they were shocked by Liam's work.As Leeroy said:"We were buzzing our tits off".The next time they saw Liam,they asked him to play his tunes for them to dance to.They asked a girlfriend,Sharky,if she wanted to be with them.She sais "yes" and the Prodigy was formed.Liam played the keyboards while Keith,Leeroy and Sharky were dancing.Liam felt that a MC was needed in the group and put in touch with Maxim Reality,a reggae MC.Maxim had got into MC-ing at the age of 14,by watching his brother when he was MC-ing.This wasn't the first time Maxim was a member of a music group.When he was living in Nottingham,he had a musical partnership with a friend called Ian Sherwood.They called themselves Maxim Reality and Sheik Yan Groove.They worked together for a while and they split up.Maxim moved in London.Shortly after that,a mutual friend put him in contact with the Prodigy.
